To start using the BlackBerry App World, you’ll have to create a vendor account using the following steps:
- Agree to the Vendor Agreement for BlackBerry App World
- Enter your personal and company (if applicable) contact information
- Link your PayPal account with your Vendor account (which means that you should create your own PayPal account)
- After your account credentials are confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how you can start submitting the app that you have made to the BlackBerry App World store
- The name of your app, its description and icon or logo
- The category or categories which your app fits in (the more the better)
- The type of license your app will have (free, paid, or try and buy)
- The wireless service providers which your app will be available to (At&T, T-Mobile, etc…)
- The countries your app will be distributed in
- Release, file bundles and screenshots of the app
